Elderberry Seedling (Native)

A fast-growing, deciduous shrub, thriving in moist, well-drained soil and part shade to full sun (less berries in shadier conditions), these hardy, multi-stemmed plants produce fragrant white flower clusters in summer, followed by edible (when cooked), dark purple-black berries used in jams and syrups.
